New Years

One New Years, Erica and I found ourselves just exhausted but we took the kiddos to see fireworks at the University of Fairbanks in Alaska anyway. Their fireworks πŸ’₯ display begins around 8:30 or 9:00 at night. When we got back to the car after the grand finale the kids were amazed. Not as much by the fireworks πŸŽ‡, they couldn’t believe that it was already midnight. Here’s the thing, it wasn’t. Erica changed the time in the van so they would think it was midnight. It was really like 10:00 or something. Hahahahah. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Oh man you should have heard them going crazy about how fast the time went. Bwaaahahahaha!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ kidsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚When we got home we put them right to bed πŸ› and called it a night. We were able to do that for a few more years afterwards. Sigh, being a parent rocks.

So we can’t be the only ones who have done something like thisπŸ€”…can we?
